Sunset Pier’s Umbrellas
Rising with the sun I struggle to open my eyes while reaching for my pants, shirt and flip-flops. I hopped in my car with only one task in mind. Hugging my Cuban Coffee in one hand and the steering wheel in the other I pass the street sweeper tidying up from the prior nights festivities. Knowing ahead of time I must scoot on down to the pier and snap this photo before the hordes of Paradise Worshipers dawn their sunglasses and belly up to the bar and tables.
This multi-colored mind-blowing beauty-fest of scenery I willingly give to you courtesy of my loss of sleep. You’ve heard that the early bird gets the worm… and this early bird got the most perfect photos of the entire trip because of it. Sunset Pier is a gathering place for ocean onlookers of all ages coming in droves from open to close.
You can find this mecca of madness packed at all hours of the day so be patient if you go during lunch or dinner time since seating is at a premium. It’s FREE to look around but don’t expect to get a photo similar to mine unless you too get up and down to the pier by 7 am! I’m going back to bed now… zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
