This workshop, from 5-7 p.m. at the new artist collective, Sacred Space, located at 5700 4th Ave. on Stock Island, is to dive into the history & uses of malas and will touch briefly on meditation & mantra practices; participants learn from local artist Karen Moore of ZEN Jewelry about the energetic meaning of the natural elements and gemstones and led through the creation of their own mala necklace.
